Italy is one of my favourite countries. There are always some great sights to see no matter where you go. And on top of that, it’s got a rich history and lots of natural attractions too. Italian food is pretty popular around the world, so I don’t think I need to tell anyone about it!
It’s known for its great hams, cheeses, pasta and wines, which I can enjoy whenever I want. The northern part of Italy is impressive, with the Alps offering a great view. As you move south, you’ll find the coast, many cities of historical importance, the Tuscan hills, and geological formations like volcanoes. There’s so much more to see!

I was able to visit the main regions from Istria to Dubrovnik (Rovinj, Zadar, Makarska, Dubrovnik) thanks to its proximity to Hungary. I didn’t get to write about them all. But I look back on them with fond memories. There are plenty of attractions in Croatia, so it’s definitely worth choosing the country over other destinations. In addition to the coast, there are eight national parks that are also great places to visit. Among them are the Plitvice Lakes, which have been on the World Heritage List since 1979.
The truth is that there are some stunning, unspoilt beaches here that are perfect for tourists who want to spend their holidays here. The Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea is a popular destination for tourists, with 1,778 km of coastline. The country is also home to 1,185 islands. There are 66 inhabited islands in total.
