Italy

Italy is one of my favourite countries. There are always some great sights to see no matter where you go. And on top of that, it’s got a rich history and lots of natural attractions too. Italian food is pretty popular around the world, so I don’t think I need to tell anyone about it!

It’s known for its great hams, cheeses, pasta and wines, which I can enjoy whenever I want. The northern part of Italy is impressive, with the Alps offering a great view. As you move south, you’ll find the coast, many cities of historical importance, the Tuscan hills, and geological formations like volcanoes. There’s so much more to see!

Croatia

Croatia

I was able to visit the main regions from Istria to Dubrovnik (Rovinj, Zadar, Makarska, Dubrovnik) thanks to its proximity to Hungary. I didn’t get to write about them all. But I look back on them with fond memories. There are plenty of attractions in Croatia, so it’s definitely worth choosing the country over other destinations. In addition to the coast, there are eight national parks that are also great places to visit. Among them are the Plitvice Lakes, which have been on the World Heritage List since 1979.

The truth is that there are some stunning, unspoilt beaches here that are perfect for tourists who want to spend their holidays here. The Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea is a popular destination for tourists, with 1,778 km of coastline. The country is also home to 1,185 islands. There are 66 inhabited islands in total.

Denmark

Denmark

I first came to Denmark, and Copenhagen in particular, for work. I loved the capital so much that I decided to visit on a private trip. Denmark is the second most popular country in Scandinavia after Sweden.

What makes Denmark a great place to visit?
Denmark is home to the most famous Renaissance castle in Northern Europe, Kronborg Castle.
If you’re a fan of Legos, Billund Legoland is the place for you. It’s 10 hectares of fun for cube lovers.
Take in the Danish way of life, which is all about enjoying the simple things in life.
You can cycle in a country that’s really friendly to cyclists.
There are plenty of art galleries for those who love architecture and design.

Germany

Germany

I’ve been to lots of different places in Germany, but not as a private traveller, so there’s still a lot more on my list. I’d also like to visit Berlin, the capital, and the Bavarian Forest.

Germany has something for everyone, whether you love nature, history, mountains or the sea. Germany is home to 25,000 castles. One of them is in Meißen.
